But dig deeper, and you will find a story about how your office building is being operated. And when your building’s data joins the data from thousands of other office properties, it combines to tell the broader story of how your market, the office sector and the commercial real estate industry are transforming.

Do your part to complete the narrative. Share your data with BOMA International’s 2017 Office Experience Exchange Report (Office EER) survey. Not only is your participation in this annual survey essential to ensuring BOMA continues to capture the best and most accurate benchmarking information in the industry for its forthcoming 2017 report, but it also unlocks a number of valuable benefits that will improve your office building’s performance.
It’s No Tall Tale: Completing the Survey Is Easy
Any office building can submit 2016 year–end income and expense data to the 2017 Office EER survey, regardless of whether or not the property is owned or managed by a BOMA member. The intuitive and interactive online submission form allows most respondents to finish in about 30 minutes, but there’s no need to complete an entire survey at once. Save your answers as you go and return to the form as many times as needed before the March 31 deadline.

Receive a free Expense Performance Comparison report, which assesses how your office building compares to its market peers;
Gain priority access to the 2017 Office EER when it is released this summer—and receive deep discounts on your subscription;
Fulfill a prerequisite for applying for, maintaining or renewing your building’s BOMA 360 designation; and

Interested in sharing data from multiple properties with the 2017 surveys?

BOMA International now offers two easy ways to submit portfolio-wide data:

  1. If you have 10 or more properties, complete our Excel spreadsheet template to quickly and simply upload your data to the survey system. After logging into your account, click the “Import Multiple Properties” link, which will take you to a webpage with templates for both surveys.
  2. If you have 20 or more properties, BOMA has joined with Waypoint to offer a free automated process for sharing data. Contributors who wish to submit 20 or more buildings at the same time to either survey may easily and securely export their income and expense data directly from their accounting software into Waypoint’s online Contributor Platform.
